    MTM’s tube forming sections are known for their advanced design, which enables seamless switching in the tube mill setup. Perfected with over 50 years of experience, this model helps operators quickly adapt and deliver in a fast-paced production environment.

    Each roll set of the forming section is designed specifically for your needs, based on the specific shape and size of the tube, to optimize the quantity of roller sets to meet your production needs.. Our systems use the HF welding technology to transform strip into welded tube, which is then progressively transformed into the desired profile.

    MTM Forming Section Highlights

    Working head extraction carriage (standard)

    • Enables quick and safe roll changes directly on the machine
    • Allows partial roll changes for derivative tubes directly on the machine through sliding carriages
    • Easily accessible roll shafts for operators

    Quick change system (option)

    • Minimizes downtime and maximizes productivity
    • Working heads mounted on rafts for easy lift and replacement
    • Pre-mounted roll sets allow immediate switch to new production runs

    Advanced features

    • In-line control systems for continuous monitoring of quality and other production parameters
    • Vertical adjustment of lower shafts and idle stands and axial adjustment of upper shafts
    • New Human-Machine Interface for enhanced operational efficiency
    • Centralized lubrication system and additional driven stands in any section
    • Individual motor for each single stand/shaft
